Your information

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: September 30, 2026

This policy explains how Vadyu (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit vadyu.com, create an account, upload images, generate videos, purchase a subscription, or contact us. For questions or privacy requests, email hello@vadyu.com.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, account identifier, account creation date, and a salted password hash used to verify your password. We store the hash rather than your password in readable form.
  • Content and generation records: images you upload, prompts and creative directions, generation settings, generated videos and previews, content locations, timestamps, job status, usage counts, and quality-check results. Content can contain personal information if you include it.
  • Billing information: your plan, subscription status, payment amounts and currency, transaction and invoice references, and Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Payment details are entered through Stripe’s payment interface; our application stores payment references rather than full card numbers.
  • Usage and device information: page visits, signup, checkout, purchase, and generation events, browser and session identifiers, referral and campaign parameters, and technical information received with requests. We derive hashed identifiers from your IP address, browser user agent, and language to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse. Hashing does not make these identifiers anonymous.
  • Support communications: your email address, message, and any attachments or details you choose to send when contacting us.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, process uploaded content, generate and deliver videos, check output quality, display your generation history, administer subscriptions and payments, and respond to support requests. We also use it to enforce quotas, detect misuse, troubleshoot failures, maintain and improve the service, measure how people use Vadyu, and understand advertising and purchase attribution.

Depending on applicable law and the activity, legal bases may include providing the requested service, performing our agreement, legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as security and service operation. Some activities require consent under applicable law.

3. Sharing and service providers

Running Vadyu requires sending information to providers that perform parts of the service:

  • Payments: Stripe receives account and payment information to process payments and manage subscriptions. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
  • AI processing: uploaded images, prompts, and generation instructions are sent to AI inference services. Our integrations include Hugging Face and WaveSpeed. Quality checks can send a reference image and sampled video frames through Hugging Face to providers such as Novita or DeepInfra. Providers used depend on the model and service configuration.
  • Hosting and delivery: infrastructure providers operate the site and deliver media. Source images, previews, and videos are stored using Amazon Web Services S3.
  • Measurement and advertising: Google and, when configured, Meta receive information through the integrations described below.

Providers’ handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Vadyu uses cookies for signed-in sessions and anonymous generation access. Browser session storage can hold a generation draft, including your image and directions, while you move through signup, as well as campaign attribution and event-deduplication records. Clearing storage can remove drafts, sign you out, or affect access to anonymous generation history.

Google Analytics and Google Ads measure visits, signup, checkout, generation activity, purchases, and advertising performance. When server-side purchase measurement is configured, Google receives transaction details, plan, amount, currency, a pseudonymous account identifier, and browser or session identifiers when available. Campaign attribution may be associated with account and payment records. For purchase matching, our checkout can also supply your email to Google’s enhanced conversions tag, which hashes it for ad measurement.

When enabled, the Meta Pixel measures page views and events such as registration, checkout, generation activity, and purchases. Google and Meta integrations may use cookies and receive page URLs, IP addresses, device information, and activity signals, which may be connected with information they already hold. These integrations support measurement and may support advertising personalization under the providers’ policies and your settings.

These tags load automatically; Vadyu currently has no in-app cookie preference panel. You can manage browser cookies and storage and review Google’s partner-site privacy information, Google ad settings, the Analytics opt-out add-on, and Meta’s Privacy Policy. These controls do not necessarily stop all collection, including server-side payment measurement. Contact us about advertising-related privacy requests.

5. Retention and security

Account, billing, generation, and media records are stored as part of operating the service. Retention depends on the type of information, service needs, support and dispute handling, security, and applicable legal obligations. We do not promise a fixed storage period or automatic deletion of your account or generated media. Provider copies, logs, and backups may follow separate retention practices.

We use measures such as password hashing and authenticated access to account functions to protect information. No system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. Keep your login details and media links private, and avoid uploading sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your video.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or opt out of certain advertising uses or disclosures described as “sale” or “sharing” under local law. These rights can be subject to exceptions, including recordkeeping and security needs. You may also have a right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email hello@vadyu.com from the address associated with your account and describe what you are requesting. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority. Please do not send your password or full payment card details. We will assess requests under applicable law; a request does not automatically cancel a subscription.

7. International processing

Vadyu and its providers may store or process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live. International transfers are subject to applicable legal requirements, and providers may use their own transfer arrangements.

8. Children’s privacy

Vadyu is intended for people creating product and campaign videos and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact hello@vadyu.com so we can investigate and address it.

9. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the service and our practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice where applicable law requires it.

For privacy questions and requests, contact Vadyu at hello@vadyu.com. Our Terms of Service describe the rules for using Vadyu.
